Cross Cultures’ football school activities are sponsored by a number of influential and generous charity donors. Without our donors, we obviously would not be able to carry out the important work of reconciling people in conflict and war stricken areas.
Cross Cultures’ main charity donors
UEFA: Cross Cultures and its Open Fun Football Schools (OFFS) program is an official UEFA Football and Social Responsibility Partner. Hereby the program has received invaluable political and moral support, from which we benefit in our daily contact with the national football associations and the local football clubs.
Nordic governmental donors: the Danish, Norwegian and Swedish government all comprise generous donors for Cross Cultures’ work. As an implementing partner of the Nordic development programs Cross Cultures is obliged to pursue their political goals: to stimulate the development of an active and peaceful civil society. In addition to long-term funding and political commitment we also seek a constructive dialogue with the donor organisations on important issues related to sustainability.
FC Barcelona, Futbolnet: FC Barcelona is the main charity donor behind the Futbolnet program. The project benefits children and young people aged between 10 and 16 years, selected by regional organizations that collaborate in the implementation. Cross Cultures work through the program in Oman and Iraq.
