From 1998 - 2016 over 350,000 girls have participated in Open Fun Football School activities. Further 11,000 females have been trained on our seminars of 3-5 days duration and a total of 28,000 females have volunteered our activities as leaders or coaches.
“At that time in Bosnia, women’s football was almost non-existent. The men were always given the priority to play on the pitches that hadn’t been ruined during the war, and the last thing girls’ parents were thinking was to let their daughters go and play football.”
The Iraqi team consisting of a youth and delegation leader each with three participants went to Lyon, France and participated in the Street Football World festival between 28th of June till July 7th 2016.
