On March 8, Cross Cultures and hummel celebrates the international women’s day by organising the women’s football festival in Afghanistan in cooperation with the Afghanistan Football Federation (AFF) and the women football committee.
In total 144, female football players from 10 – 18 years old attended the Women’s Festival in Kabul. Through joyful games at the Open Fun Football Schools and speeches delivered by senior government officials and other notabilities the female participants spread the massage of the peace, equality and friendship through sport and promoted Women’s Rights.
Most of these female participants are from different football clubs, schools and orphanage. The The Women’s Festival was organised by 20 female coaches and it was broadcasted in national and international media.
