From August 28th to September 2nd Eurocamp 2012 was celebrated in Wroclaw, Poland.
Eurocamp 2012 is far more than just a football tournament; it is a celebration of the beautiful game and its power to bring people from different backgrounds together.
In association with the UEFA EURO 2012 and with the financial support from the European Commission, Eurocamp will bring together around 250 young people from disadvantaged social backgrounds from all 53 UEFA nations for five days of intercultural workshops, football, learning and fun. The young participants, sent by European Football Associations, will be involved in a variety of sporting, cultural and educational activities throughout their time in Poland. It will be a "global village" experience with young people from all over Europe coming together, speaking a range of different languages and representing many different cultures.
Moldavian delegation with support of FA of Moldova and central office CCPA/OFFS Moldova took part in the EUROCAMP from 2008 as well as in 2012. Taking part in the event was the OFFS Magdaceshti team from Moldova: Onica Vera, Vistieru Cristian, Stepaniuc Cristian, Onica Elena, Nistor Mariana.
