Due to the hard work of Open Fun Football School Ukraine and the commitment of Cross Cultures two Fair Play Festivals took place in Kiev at the "Euro City" and in Lviv at the Sokol Stadium on the 11th of June. "Euro City" is known under the slogan: "friendships of nations".
During the day different activities took place where the children received small presents linked to Euro 2012 such as footballs and even tickets for Euro championship matches. The children also had the chance to meet Davor Šuker, a former Croatian football star.
The Fair Play festival was held in cooperation between GIZ (Bureau of German cooperation), FFU (Football Federation of Ukraine), Open Fun Football School and Respect Your Health Projects. One of the important aims was to reach out a hand to children from families with less ressources.
Through the event there was a strong focus on health, prevention of HIV/AIDS and "Sports For All" pedagogies and educational methods to tackle issue as crime and conflict prevention.
Open Fun Football Schools Marathon The people of Dunaivtsi in the Khmelnytsky region have launched a marathon of Open Fun
