5 – 12 November 2014 in Delhi public School – 45 Gurgaon Girls Football Festival took place. 5 – 8 November 2014 Coaches education and workshop conducted by Anders Lavinsen and John Helt experts of Grassroots Football & Open Fun Football Schools.
In this workshop 60 School Coaches from 30 Schools in NCR were invited for 4 days intensive learning and interactive workshop.
10 – 12 November 500 School Girls from classes 6 – 10 from 50 Schools in NCR were invited to represent their schools and take part in 3 days of Fun with football: Fun games, Matches and Making New Friends. Qualified players selected to represent India at the Youth Tournament DANA CUP in Denmark.
Objectives of the festival are to help School Coaches bring the joy of the game to girls, and inducing the Confidence to represent India in the 20124 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
