On 8th of March, International Women’s Day, the first ever football match involving veterans of Moldovan Football former women’s national team’s players was played on FC Buiucani pitch together with men veterans.
Before the start whistle gentlemen’s handed a bunch of flowers to each of the women. The game was swift, all the time the women’s were in the lead only in the last seconds of the match men managed to bring the match to a draw. The result of the match – 11:11.
The match was organized by FA of Moldova together with CCPA/OFFS Moldova. In the match took part members of the OFFS Moldova: Iurii CONUSEVICI (captain of the veterans team), Svetlana CEBAN (captain women’s team) both are assistant Coordinators CCPA/OFFS Moldova, as well as CEBAN Natalia and Iana POGAREVICI, instructors CCPA/OFFS Moldova.
More people visited the match, as well was invited journalists. The event was reported on official web site of FAM, and TV.
