Volunteering and Strengthening Youth Network in Jordan

In Cross Cultures regional programme: Caravans – Fun Sport for Civic Engagement (Jordan, Morocco and Tunisia) supported by Danish Arab Partnership Programme, youth leadership training and development plays a prominent role. The youth leadership training follows the basic didactic method of Cross Cultures with emphasis on the active exploration of the theme by the youth themselves rather than being lectured and instructed.

Child Safeguarding in Sports Training Seminar Jordan November 2019

Cross Cultures Plus Sport Approach has for years been stressing the nourishing of a good environment for children while at the same time taking good care of the wellbeing of children and safeguarding their rights. In an effort to build the competences and readiness to implement and carry this responsibility, Cross Cultures developed a regional project on Child Safeguarding in Sports which gained support from the Danish Fund CISU.

I Sahara løber kvinderne stafet (DAPP, 2018)

Den marokkanske Sportsføderation inviterede i januar Cross Cultures til at deltage i deres årlige Sport for all-karavene i Sahara. Karavanen udspiller sig over tre dage i små landsbyer rundt om i ørkenlandet, hvor fællesleg, sport og musik er samlingspunktet. Sport for all-karavanen var startskuddet til et nyt samarbejde mellem CCPA og Marokko, som er støttet af DAPP. Læs hele artiklen her.

 

Girls can play too! (Responsiball, 2016)

The Cross Cultures Project Association (CCPA) was set up in the aftermath of the conflict in ex-Yugoslavian states to promote peace and reconciliation through football. Although not initially a focus from the outset, the implementation of the project across the Balkans has played a significant role in the empowerment of women in the region and has led to a surge in the number of female footballers. Fodbold og forsoning (Djøfbladet, 2008)

Anders Levinsen blev som kun 31-årig chef for UNHCR i Bosnien med ansvar for hundredtusindvis af krigsflygtninge. Efter krigens afslutning startede han et internationalt projekt med fredsskabende fodboldskoler. Læs hele artiklen her.
