The 11th of February Cross Cultures arranged an Open Fun Football Festival and the day was perfect with sun and blue sky and the positive energy of Iraqi youth. 40 young people from Iraq both Kurds and Arabs cooperated to create a great day for approximately 140 children in Sulaymaniyah.
The young participants followed a three days CCPA seminar where they were divided into mixed teams of both Kurds and Arabs and prepared how to create activities and fun for the children.
The event took place in a football stadium and the children rotated between the different activities and were therefore challenged with many kinds of physical sports and had a lot of fun together with each other and the young Kurds and Arabs who were coaches for a day.
