Women Football Development Tournament in Moldova

A series of pilot international development tournaments, supported by UEFA´s HatTrick assistance program, have been held with success in Moldova.
Mrs. Ceban Svetlana, assistant coordinator CCPA/OFFS Moldova and Ms. Ceban Natalia, instructor CCPA/OFFS Moldova took part in organization of the development through football tournament of women.
SGS Finland (theoretical session)
The U17 girls´ teams of Moldova, Romania, Hungary and Ukraine also produced a fine tournament at the Technical Center in Vadul lui Voda. Women´s football is coming into its own and is gaining an ever-increasing following, which meant that this event was a perfect opportunity to see the young female players in action at an influential stage in their careers.

All the young adults participating in this international development tournament demonstrated technical skill, determination and fair play.
The final match between Moldova and Romania was visited by Mr. Michel Platini (the president of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA)), Marios N. Lefkaritis (UEFA Vice-president), Allan Hansen (UEFA ExCo Member, Chairman UEFA HatTrick Committee), David Petriasvili (Project Manager HatTrick), Theodore Theodorids (Deputy General Secretary).

This gave an opportunity for these players to develop and prepare the younger players for competition football at all levels and also development football of women in Moldova.
