CCPA In Ramtha, International Womens Day 08.03.14.

Cross Cultures, AFDP,Street Football World and Nashama Football Club was hosting an event to celebrate the International Women’s Day in Ramtha 08.03.14
The festival was held at Nashama Football Club in the city of Ramtha, the club owner>Mr. Ibraheem Abu al-sheeh let us borrow his private field for the seminar. The aim was to make a festival for Syrian female refugees and their fellow Jordanian male coaches living side by side in Ramtha. The celebration of the International Women´s Day was an overall success, 20 Syrian female coaches participated and 21 Jordanian male coaches. The field was divided into 14 different rotations, where 2-4 coaches were in charge of each rotation. 1 male and 1 female coach performed each rotation we mixed the rotations like this to get more dynamic in the exercises.
160 kids were attending the festival from the age 5-15. We divided the kids into groups of 10-14 in each rotation. We also divided the kids in age. Each rotation lasted for 11 minutes a DJ was playing music and stopped the music every time they had to switch rotation.
We started the festival at 1:00 PM and continued until 4:00 PM when the rotations finished we distributed food and water/soft drink to the kids, coaches and parents. The parents, kids and coaches did ask for a repetition of the festival and stated that it had been a very nice day.
A special thank to the owner Ibraheem Abu al-sheeh of Nashama Football Club for lending us their field for the festival.
