International CCP Conference took place in Tbilisi at the "BATESTA" hotel between 7th-10th of May 2012 and was supervised by the CCPA Central Office on the subject "Open Fun Football Schools+ Police".
Participating countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Denmark, Georgia, Moldova, Macedonia and Ukraine – 66 participants in all.
The first two days we listened to the presentations, which were made by the police officers about the crime and conflict prevention activity in Denmark and in the other respective countries. After that we had workshop of parents and quite a number of very interesting discussions and exchange of the opinions in connection with the activity of crime prevention.
On May 9 2012 from 11:00 to 13:00, during the final day of the Conference, all the participants attended an OFFS + Police display school, which was implemented at the sport complex "Shromiti Resevebi".
The event caused a keen interest on behalf of sport community and mass media in Georgia. Practically all main TV channels as well as quite a number of newspapers highlighted the event on a regular basis. Interview with Anders Levinsen, Lars Andersen and Charlie Lywood were shown on "Rustavi-2" and the First State TV channels in Georgia.
