International Diabetes Day in Moldovian childrens hospital

International Day of Persons with Disabilities – is an international observance promoted by the United Nations since 1992. It has been celebrated with varying degrees of success around the planet. The observance of the Day aims to promote an understanding of disability issues and mobilize support for the dignity, rights and well-being of persons with disabilities.
It also seeks to increase awareness of gains to be derived from the integration of persons with disabilities in every aspect of political, social, economic and cultural life. It was originally called "International Day of Disabled Persons". Each year the day focuses on a different issue.
In connection with the International Diabetes Day celebrated on 14th of November ,  FA of Moldova, central office CCPA/OFFS Moldova held celebration for children with diabetic in  Republican Children´s Hospital “Emilian Cotaga” from Chisinau.
The festival brought together 26 children with diabetes. Each child received souvenirs from CCPA/OFFS, wrist band, T-shirt, respect cap. All the children were happy to get a lot of pleasure, attention and gifts.
This is the seventh year consecutive when CCPA/OFFS Moldova held activities dedicated to “International Diabetes Day” in Republican hospital for children. It is a traditional action organized by CCPA/OFFS in cooperation with FMF every year.
