Our Goals for 2025

The OFFS initiative is built on a foundation of promoting peaceful coexistence, social inclusion, and equality. In 2025, we will continue to focus on the following key objectives:

  1. Promoting a Culture of Peace
OFFS brings people together, creating spaces for interaction and collaboration. By using football as a common language, we help bridge divides and build positive relationships across ethnic, social, and political lines.

  2. Empowering Youth
Through our Cross Cultures Youth Leadership Education program, we work with young people, including those in probation, prisons, or NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) situations. We provide them with skills, networks, and opportunities to become active participants in their communities and role models for others.

  3. Supporting Gender Equality
OFFS creates equal opportunities for women and girls to participate in sports and other social activities. By focusing on their individual interests and abilities, we empower them to grow and thrive.

  4. Strengthening Child Protection and Social Prevention
We create safe spaces for children to play, learn, and develop. By addressing social risks early, we aim to prevent challenges from escalating into more serious issues.

  5. Building Cross-Sectoral Partnerships
OFFS serves as a platform for developing a cross-sectoral social prevention network. By working with local stakeholders, we create comprehensive support systems that align with community safety councils and promote participatory governance.

Our Impact Since 2006

Since its launch in Moldova in 2006, OFFS has brought together over 105,000 children, 2,900 coaches, and 2,650 young volunteers from all regions of the country, including both sides of the Dniester River. The initiative has contributed to societal development by promoting fundamental values such as peace, social inclusion, and gender equality.

With the support of the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA) since 2009, we have been able to expand our reach and deepen our impact.
