OFFS project has been implemented in Azerbaijan since 2003. During this period of time more than 100 Open Fun Football Schools have been implemented, in which more than 20,000 boys and girls of 7-12 years have taken part.
In 2013, 18 Open Fun Football Schools were held in Azerbaijan, in which 3,600 children actively participated under the supervision of the OFFS instructors, leaders and coaches, who have been trained at the instructors’, leaders and coach seminars in Georgia and Azerbaijan before the beginning of the season.
The police officers participated in the schools operation in Azerbaijan for the first time and their contribution was very impressive. The children were happy and their parents were very confident. The Open Fun Football Schools operation was monitored by Mr. Ruaf Aliev, AFFA Vice President and Mr. Valeri Cholaria, OFFS Regional Coordinator to CIS & Georgia.
