Supporting Ukraine through Football: Cross Cultures’ Commitment to Youth Empowerment

Youth Hubs Project "Open Fun Football Schools" — In Support of the Ukrainian National Team

To celebrate Ukraine’s participation in Euro 2024, we are thrilled to announce that the “Open Fun Football Schools” will be held in 18 different regions across Ukraine. On each of Ukraine’s match days during Euro 2024, these activities will provide not only football fun but also essential psychosocial support to children affected by the war.

This initiative, supported by the New Democracy Fund (NDF) and Cross Cultures Project Association (CCPA), aims to provide psychosocial support to children affected by the war through football. The project has established youth hubs in 18 regions, focusing on fostering community spirit and mental well-being through sports. These hubs, led by a network of trained youth leaders, offer volunteer-driven football projects that include elements of psychological support and mine safety education.
