In connection to the war in Ukraine, Cross Cultures has signed a partnership agreement with The Ukrainian Association for Football (UAF) to help children in 7 of the western regions of Ukraine.
A program for a change
Right now we are witnessing a devastating war in Ukraine, affecting innocent children and brining them in harm’s way. These children are losing their parents, families, homes and everything they know.
The overall objective of the program is to facilitate child protection for internally displaced children, unaccompanied children, orphans and other vulnerable children affected by the war in Ukraine.
The program covers Lviv, Zakarpattia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, Ternopil, Rivne and Khmelnytskyi.
Our specific objectives are to provide medicine, food and first aid kits to the children in hospitals, orphanages and protection camps.
Furthermore we will strengthen and capacitate SSP-units in Ukraine, and provide logistical and moral support to our networks in their endeavors to help and assist the afflicted children.
Last but not least we will provide psychosocial support to unaccompanied children, internally displaced children and orphans through play, fun football and child protection activities.
