On August 17, a training seminar with volunteers at the Open Fun Football Schools was held in Zaporizhia, Ukraine. The program helps, among others, internally displaced children (IDP) from Donbass and Crimea, with the support of the European Union.
On August 17 to 23 further 3 seminars were held where representatives from 9 regions (Donetsk, Luhansk, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Odesa and Kyiv), and project volunteers prepared for a new format of events adapted to all sanitary and anti-epidemic norms.
During the following press conference, all those present were presented with a new promo video about the project and a new guide for volunteers, where they can learn new interesting exercises and games After the press conference, the participants had interesting practical classes from the best Ukrainian experts. Physical education teachers, child coaches, school psychologists and juvenile prevention police officers will train their assistants in the regions – youth leaders who are the future volunteers of the project.
