February 9th-11th, 33 boys and girls (age 16-41) from Baghdad (Iraq) and Sulemaniah (Iraqi Kurdistan) participated in the Youth seminar, along with 10 participants from the Danish organization Operation a day''s work (“Operation Dagsværk”).

The 11th of February Cross Cultures arranged an Open Fun Football Festival and the day was perfect with sun and blue sky and the positive energy of Iraqi youth.
On December 25th 2011 CCPA held a sport festival, in cooperation with several special needs associations, at the Lebanese University in Hadath.
The project launched by CCPA/OFFS in Moldova aims to increase more women participants and one of the goals in 2012 is to develop more female coaches.
Al-Salaam Iraq and CCPA are currently preparing for the coming Open Fun Football School-season where thousands of children and hundreds of volunteers will take part in football schools and other activities in Iraq in order to develop grassroots sports and promote cooperation and friendship between different groups in Iraq.
From 24.01-12.02 nine young Danes will travel to Egypt and Iraq, as part of the coming project co-operation between the Danish student organization "Operation Dagsvaerk" and CCPA.
On December 23rd, CCPA Iraq arranged a festival for 200 children from different parts of the country to mark the end of a successfull 2011 season.
